You need to read the post below to get a context for this video. It's been cut from 40 minutes down to only 5 minutes. Listen out for the engine failure (engine noise changes about 1 minute in) and be sure to stay for the fire trucks at the end - this is a rare occurrence! The radio communication breaks up a bit because there was a lot of traffic. We got the radio recording from Lanseria Air Traffic Control, thanks guys, you rock!

Sheesh! Glad you're both ok. When you going again?
I think you pilot-types all talk too fast. What the hell does 'pan' mean? Isn't it supposed to be MAYDAY?
Mayday is a distress call when you're in serious and imminent danger and a crash seems unaviodable and you require immediate assistance. Pan, Pan, Pan is an urgency call giving you radio priority but may not require immediate assistance. A Pan call can later become a Mayday call if things get worse.
Temur... Masha has gone home for now and the gravity rig needs some modifications but we will fly again soon... in a Yak, in Cape Town, cause we can.
Well done. You handled that textbook.
Wow, You guys did great. Masha is the best. And "textbook" way is all she knows. Did someone say "Yak"!!!! Can i come.
Did I hear the controller say "GOOD LUCK"?
Well done! Flying colours for you both! Would love to see more!
Betrand Russell (you younger folk won't know who that was, just take my word for it, he was a great writer) once wrote :
"The secret of happiness is this : let your interests be as wide possible, and let your reactions to the things and persons that interest you be as far as possible friendly rather than hostile"
So who am I to say that Gravity Art is crazy. I say Son, and Masha, go for it !!!
I won't be spending any money on your art right now though because I'm experimenting with my own, called Arc De Workshop. I have a big canvas at one side of my workshop and through electronic valves can shoot paint through a big arc to the canvas. The valves are controlled by a computer that reacts to car engine noises. The more throttle, the more paint and the more the arc. Maybe we can compare notes er.. paintings one day ?
An excellent idea your Arc De Workshop is! So this is clearly where I get it from.
me me - pick me!!
A black one if I may be fussy!! spiral@spiralgalaxy.co.za aka Anne
